3. On-site Rules and Safety

  • The ‘Kiso Handicrafts Market’ is an event held within the historic streetscape and city center. As the event takes place within the living environment of local residents, please value communication with them and adapt flexibly to the rules of each district.
  • During setup and cleanup (both the day before and the day of), please follow all traffic laws and staff instructions. Because the roads around the venue are narrow, please prioritize safety and work quickly when loading or unloading equipment.
  • The event will go ahead regardless of the weather, so please make your own arrangements for protection against wind and rain.
  • To prevent accidents caused by sudden gusts, all tents must be secured with weights.
  • Ensure that all displays remain within your designated booth space so that products or luggage do not block the aisles for visitors.
  • Booth placement will be determined by the organizer based on application details. We cannot accept specific requests for booth locations.
  • Vehicles must be parked in designated parking lots in accordance with the rules. Please note that staying overnight in vehicles (car camping) within the venue or parking lots is prohibited.
